Supreme Court on provisions extinguishing legal rights in standard-form contracts

The Swedish Supreme Court confirms that statutory and contractual provisions prescribing how and within what time a claim must be asserted in order to avoid forfeiture must be interpreted restrictively, and should not be applied by analogy, particularly where the legal consequence of non-compliance is not expressly stated.
